Justcroft International are pleased to announce the release of JustCGM for UNIX 4.001.001, a new maintenance release of the desktop viewing, converting and plotting package, available to all customers with support and maintenance cover free of charge.

Changes in this release are -

• Fix problem possible crash with the jpsnmpmon in case the printer/plotter was turned off.
• Upgraded GhostScript to GhostScript 8.01.
• PostScript to CGM converter now has an option to join pages to one CGM picture.
• Bug in G4 tile compression fixed.

• Improved DGN converter with support for non rectangular clipping
• Changes in PPD support:
• Fix crash with incorrect ppd.
• Added support for enabled/disabled in booleans menus.

CGM Support

• Canvas 9 CGMs were not recognized by the package profile system (no longer Deneba, but ACD Systems).
• Added support for direct colour CGMs with CellArrays with 32bit colour precision (Landmark OpenWorks).
• Added support for CGM protection regions (BEGPROTREGION, ENDPROTREGION, PROTREGION).
• Fixed problem with missing seismic section in PostScript and PDF output.
• Improved CGM error messages.
• Added package option POLYGON_SPIKE_FIX for Landmark Emerald City.

CGM Converter

• Skip CHARSETLIST element as a workaround for import CGM-filter bug of MicroStation SE/J.
• Removed incorrect ELLIPARCCLOSE from the file.
• Improved line join filter for lines with a small gap between the end point and the start point.
• Fixed clip problem in attribute optimize filter.
• Fixed possible crash when -tmpdir parameter was not specified.

EMF - CGM Converter

• Improved EMF converter with support for non rectangular clipping (Petrel EMF).
• Added support for Petrel EMF with gradient fill.
• Fix problem with missing background for text in Powerlog EMF files.
• Corrected metrics for courier font in EMF.
• Fixed warning for ExtSelectClipRgn with empty regions in EMF.
• Fixed problem with clipping by ExtTextOut().
• Fixed clipping problem caused by the device units conversion.
• The number of sub elements for PolyPolygon() and PolyPolyline() is now handled dynamically.
