Justcroft International are pleased to announce the release of JustCGM for Windows 4.1, a new release of the desktop viewing, converting and plotting package. Additional functionality in version 4.1 includes -

Protection Regions

The JustCGM for Windows program suite now supports the Protection Region CGM element. This enables non-rectangular clipping and shielding (clipping with holes).

EMF to CGM Conversion

The JustCGM for Windows program suite now supports EMF files generated by Petrel. Petrel is a PC based workflow application for subsurface interpretation and modeling.

Screen Capture

JustCGM for Windows now joins JustCGM for UNIX in offering a screen grabber. This is bundled free with the product.

MicroStation V7

The DGN2CGM Converter now supports non-rectangular clipping of reference files.

CGM Converter

Joining of line segments has been improved.

PostScript/PDF to CGM Conversion

Pages of PostScript files or PDF files can now be joined together to recreate a single image, such as long Well Logs.

Drivers

New drivers are available for the HP DesignJet 5500, the iTerra Elite and the iTerra Lite.

New PPDs are available for for FX Document Centre C240, C320, C400 and HP Color Laserjet 4550

Other Enhancements

GhostScript 8.01 is now used for PostScript and PDF conversion.

The Save As dialog box and batch converter can be used to save any supported non-CGM file as a CGM.

Hatch pattern size can now be controlled by a new profile keyword. (This does not apply to Windows GDI driver.)

There is a new package file to support the Landmark Emerald City Edition (StratWorks 2003) files.
