Justcroft International are pleased to announce the June 2004 release of JustPlot 4.1.08, a new maintenance release of the enterprise viewing and plotting package. This update is now available for customers with support and maintenance contracts free of charge.

Fixes and improvements in version 4.1.08 include -

CGM Support:

• Optimised memory usage for CGM cellarrays with index colours.
• Fix polygon scan conversion problem with Kingdom files.
• Fix problem with JustMontage CGM's with JPEG/PNG Tiles using index colours.
• Fix problem with multiple picture CGM's in combination with picture selection for certain Roll plotter drivers.
• Fix problem with Paradigm Focus CGM with multiple Seismic sections.

Motif Manager:

• Changed the maximum and default for the raster memory to 500Mb and 40Mb.

Motif User:

• Fixed problem with double entries in the Job list of Generic Servers.

Command line Manager:

• Fixed problem with dump of user defaults with a '\' or '$' character in the $FILE keyword.
• Improved error message for wrong user id.
• Fixed problem with dump of user defaults with empty $PKG keyword.

Command line user (psubmit):

• Fixed problem with -size not allowing -1,-1 as value.

Server:

• Fixed problem with Native banners and the User banner mode.

Drivers:

tiff2cgm:

• Fixed problem with monochrome images and 16bit colors in TIFF.

ps2cgm:

• Fix problem with PostScript CGM conversion and long file names.
• GhostScript 7.07 could crash on SGI IRIX.
• Fix problem with PostScript files with no '%%BoundingBox' in the file.

emf2cgm:

• Improved WMF support.

Configuration utility:

• Fixed problem with distribute by ftp of the base.dat file.

• Added option for starting JustPlotWEB using startjplot

Other changes:

• Raster to CGM converters now create CGM's with TileArray with compression by default. (BMP, CALS, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PNG and XWD)
• New standard banner logo.
• Fixed problem with online help on linux.
• Fixed problem with previewing of PDF in web interface.
• Added justviewlm example script to integrate the JustPlot previewer with Landmark OpenWorks.
• Fixed jpspool script of the GeoFrame integration so that IESX under GeoFrame 4.0+ is calling JustPlot correctly in case of multiple copies.
• Added jpspool.slb script which is an alternative for jpspool. It allows for multi-platform installations of JustPlot.
• Support for Mozilla as online help browser (default on Linux) with Motif Manager, Motif User and Motif Viewer interfaces. You can force the use of either Netscape or Mozilla by setting the environment variable MTBHELP to the executable.
• Netscape is no longer started with the private colormap option (-install).
• Spaces in userid's are for replaced by underscores.
• Fix possible crash of jpsnmpmon when the printer/plotter was turned off
